How to Clean a Vinyl Floor
Vinyl, whilst being an extremely popular floor covering, for rooms such as kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms, is also very easy to
clean and maintain. It is very important to remove
stains from vinyl as soon as possible, as allowing a stain to
dry may make it impossible to remove.
What You Will Need:
Dustpan and brush
Warm water
Bucket
-
Soft cloth
Mop
Paper towels
The Cleaning Process:
Begin by sweeping the floor with
the dustpan and brush, being sure to sweep up dirt from corners and
under appliances.
In a bucket, make up a solution of
Floor Cleaner in fresh warm water
Using the mop or soft cloth, scrub
the floor gently using the solution in the bucket. Stubborn spots
may require an extra scrub
Use paper towels to clean up
excess moisture. Allow the floor to dry completely.
- Make sure the floor is dry before resuming use.
