Alternatives to Rust Go

If you are serious about removing rust we believe that Rust Go is the only option that really makes sense. However there are other more old fashioned products available that you should be aware of . Currently ours is the only product on the market of its kind delivering such great results without any of the negative affects that you will experience with most common Rust removers.

The majority of rust removers on the market today are acid based incorporating either Citric or Phosphoric Acid. Acid is effective at removing rust as it is extremely corrosive not only to rust but also the surface being treated, the surroundings and your skin.
Acid based removers will often leave a pitted surface which has the original protective layer removed. Leaving behind an extremely sensitive surface that will rust again very quickly without further treatment.
Acid based cleaners will also require more intense cleaning to remove all traces of the solution, which can prevent paint from adhering successfully. With Rust Go you only need clean off with a quality household hard surface cleaner such as FUZE Hard Surface Cleaner.
