Removing algae and moss - What are your options

https://fuze-products.co.uk/

Having your path or patio covered in moss is unsightly and looks neglected. Moss has the power to grow practically anywhere and you can practically guarantee that it will grow where you don't want it to. So what are you options?
If hard work doesn't faze you a manual option for moss removal is using a wire brush or scraper. This method involves you attacking the moss growth by scraping at it to detach it from the ground. Though it can give you visually better results relatively quickly the moss will still be growing as the roots are left untouched. Making this a very short term solution.
A jet spray can also be used as a similar concept to scraping. It involves a little less effort but the jet spray does need to be powerful enough to do some damage to the moss. Once again this method of moss removal is great for visual improvements but it won't last very long. By not removing the roots there is still plenty of the moss organism to keep it alive and growing.
For less effort there are products readily available which are effective at dealing with the problem. Weed killers are largely available and require a lot less effort on your part. Simply spraying on the product and then removing the leftovers. Though this method is more effective at getting to the root of the moss it can cause damage to other nearby vegetation like grass and plants. In order to protect the rest of the garden this solution may not be the most ideal.
The most effective solution for effective moss removal is by using a water based patio cleaner. The solution contains no hazardous substances so it is perfectly safe to use anywhere in your garden. With an iron complex built in the product can attack the algae, including the root, but not harm any other vegetation. To the moss it is a killer but to other plants it is a treat for them to drink.
In addition to being harmless to the rest of the garden, the water based patio cleaner does most of the work for you. It tackles the roots of the moss and lifts it up out of the ground so it can either be washed away by the rain or swept up with a garden broom.

The right approach for quick moss removal

Possibly one of the most tedious jobs you will ever need to do is removing the moss infestation from your garden, path or wall. Moss really can grow everywhere so it probably feels like a never ending job, but that doesn't mean it needs to be a hard job.
There are several options to choose from when removing moss. Whether it's a case of selecting which product to use or which tool to scrape it off the wall with, you do have the chance to choose which method to apply but why make life hard for yourself?
Many products on the market require a lot of effort on your part. With a few sprays of product and then chiselling at the moss with a scraper of some variation, this is a common way of tackling the moss problem. However practising this method doesn't actually remove the moss.
In order to remove moss effectively you need to remove the root as well as all the visible sponge. Not removing the root will mean that it won't be long before it starts to grow again, meaning extra work for you. Instead of scraping the wall every 5 minutes there is a much easier option which is really effective against the roots of moss.
Water based moss removal solutions allow a much more long term solution than scraping the toppings off the wall. Getting down into the root of the moss the solution kills the cells and stops it growing any further. This method is much easier to implement as many solutions only require one application and then nature does the rest.
So not only does the water based solution require minimal effort, it also does a much better job with long lasting results. An extra bonus is that the water based solution is safer than any other product. As it contains no hazardous chemicals and nasty toxic material the solution is friendly to the environment and to you.
As the product is designed to be left to run its course it is perfectly safe to have family, and children, around whilst the product is working, as it doesn't pose any danger. This also means that if any of the product should get spilt it won't damage any nearby vegetation or furniture.
So which is it to be, elbow grease or a cuppa?
