Softwash – The Facts
Softwashing is the safest and most effective way to clean roof tiles, slate and asphalt shingles, as well as many other exterior surfaces.
Traditionally, pressure-washing was the preferred method of exterior cleaning; but high pressure on a gentle surface sometimes does more damage than good, and is sometimes ineffective. Pressure washing a roof may remove the surface stains, but they quickly return.

That is why the Softwashing method works so well, it kills the moss at root level and prevents them from reappearing for many months.
